Band Distraction Guidelines for Hip Impingement: (THE DO'S and DON'TS)

Here Are The 10 Commandments:

  1. Thou shalt experiment...a ton
  2. Thou shalt distract posteriorly
  3. Thou shalt mobilize your posterior hip capsule
  4. Thou shalt mobilize in both hip internal and external rotation
  5. Thou shalt not impinge thyself while distracting posteriorly
  6. Thou shalt not distract anteriorly (if you get any sharp, painful or pinchy sensations.)
  7. Thou shalt do band distracted hamstring stretches
  8. Thou shalt do band distracted adductor stretches
  9. Thou shalt do band distracted glute stretches
  10. Thou shalt not think that the band will fix all of your hip impingement issues

Lastly, if you want more help, thou shalt follow a systematic, noninvasive program used by thousands of individuals around the world, created by people who've dealt with bad hip issues just like you – click below.
