Physical Therapy for FAI (what is it missing?)

What's Missing from Physical Therapy Protocols for FAI?

Before we get into that let me just say that this is not a knock of PT. This merely a recognition that EVERYTHING (including my programs) have strengths & weaknesses / pro’s & cons.

With that said I do want to discuss some of the weaknesses in physical therapy protocols for FAI (femoroacetabular impingement) so that you can round out your recovery program by filling in the gaps elsewhere.

Summary:

As I see it these are the main areas that are lacking in most programs.

1. Time
2. Homework
3. Theoretical vs Experiential
4. Systems Approach
