How To Train Like an Olympic Athlete, with 2x Olympian, Hector Cotto

Season #1

🎙 In today’s episode, I’m talking with 2x Olympian Hector Cotto.

Watch Video Version Here...

Hector Cotto is a Puerto Rican Olympic Athlete specializing in the 110m hurdles.

He competed in the Beijing Olympics in 2008 and London Olympics in 2012. He also competed in the World Athletics Championships for multiple years running.

👉 I was trained side-by-side with Hector in 2008 (as part of an intensive, year-long mentorship program I did with his coach.)

When Hector went to the track – I went too.

When he went to the gym – I went too.

When he went to the physical therapist – I drove him there.

This 24/7 “insiders look” at the life and training of an Olympic athlete opened my eyes to the sacrifice and discipline it takes to be an Olympian.

🗣 As he says in today’s interview:

“To be the best, you have to be willing to DIE EVERY DAY on the track.”

🏆 Today, I want to share exactly how Hector became the best.

First, as a college athlete. Then at the National level. And finally, as an Olympic athlete competing on the world stage.

How did he train?

How did he recover?

How did he eat?

How did he rehab?

What was his mindset?

🥇 Hector reveals all this (and more) in today’s incredibly-valuable conversation.

So, without further adieu, please help me welcome 2x Olympic Athlete Hector Cotto.
